  1. Black unprimed cotton duck canvas for large paintings.

Posted by Dr. Carey Charles on 02/28/2013

Like the famous artists, Helen Frankenthaler and Morris Louis, I wish to stretch this unprimed, thus absorbent, canvas and to experiment with applying layers of thinned acrylic paint, to "stain" the fabric. The quality is excellent, arrived very quickly, and, as an added perk, I was fortunate to speak to the owner, working on a holiday, proving to me this company's focus is service!

  2. Worked Great!

    Posted by Sherril on 08/23/2012

I was needing a large amount of black canvas to make covers to be embroidered for the backs of bag chairs. This canvas worked great for me and the price was the best I could find. It is a nice tight weave and ample weight.
I cannot remark about washability as that was not necessary for my application.
