10oz /60" Canvak™ Cotton Canvas is a water and mildew resistant fabric perfect for multi purpose tarps often used in industries like trucking and agriculture. The parrafin coating adds strength & durability making the fabric perfect for outdoor sporting and camping gear like backpacks and duffle bags, seat covers, duck blinds, tarps, etc. Canvak is one of the best fabrics available for covering outdoor machinery. Canvak protects equipment like Tanks, Generators, Oil Field Equipment and Pumps. The breathability helps prevent rust by significantly reducing condensation. Unlike synthetics fabrics, Cotton Canvak can hold up to extremely cold conditions without cracking for tearing. It is the go to fabric for vintage military tent and bag reproductions. You will notice an odor when you recieve your fabric. It will improve once the fabric is unrolled. Please request a sample if you are concerned about the odor. This is exactly what I was looking for for my project but I was unable to use it for long. As I cut it and began to sew, the Canvak treatment caused my skin to have a severe reaction. I would recommend getting a sample of it before ordering just to make sure it will not have the same reaction for you. Hopefully it doesn't because this is some quality material for many different types of projects.
