I needed some very strong fabric to make a utility bag and it worked perfectly. This canvas is strong and proved just the right stiffness for the bag to sit upright without anything in it. After washing, it lost a fair amount of stiffness after washing it, but it was a PAIN to iron out the wrinkles. It took a lot of steam to get them out. Aside from that, this canvas was exactly what I was looking for.

Very good product. I am happy with the purchase. I did pre-wash to hopefully get shrinkage and was unable to get the wrinkles out. I don't know if I would prewash again.

I too have large dogs that have shredded every single bed I bought for them. This canvas is so strong and sturdy that they are unable to fold it to get it between their teeth, let alone to rip it. I stuffed it with the pillow foam and they finally have a permanent places to rest.

BIG DUCK CANVAS! Finally! I found the solution to my dog destroying her bed and it was the 24 ounce duck canvas! I have a Great Dane "puppy" who at 75 pounds destroyed the two beds I'd made for her in a matter of days if not hours! Frustrating doesn't begin to describe it. Starting to wonder if I was smarter than my dog, I declared war on this dog that I love and was determined to win the battle of the bed! Long story short....I WON! But it wasn't until I decided to use the most durable fabric I could find: Big Duck 24 oz. canvas! This stuff is sturdy!....and that's an understatement! The puppy is now 108lbs. and the bed's only damage is dirt. Of course, I'm gonna have to take the cover I made to an industrial Laundromat as it's too big for my washer, but hey, it survived long enough to need a washing!....and that's what I call success! Big Duck Canvas ROCKS! It proved so durable my Great Dane capitulated and I won the war of the bed! Make that beds, plural. Now I can rest easy at night knowing I'll never have to make my dog yet ANOTHER bed....and sigh with satisfaction....I AM smarter than my dog! Thanks Big Duck! You gave me the weapon to win the war of the bed!

I will use this for repairing some old and making some new pack saddle panniers that get some heavy loads.

This fabric is spun smoothly, without slubs, and woven tight.

Made a ski bag with the #4 canvas. It came out great. Was very heavy duty. Was able to sew through 4 layers with no problems with a # 16 needle. This bag almost stands up by itself, but still pliable enough to slide over skiis. Product was just as described, have already placed another order with Big Duck Canvas.

This canvas is tightly woven and seems to be very durable. I am using it as a rug by painting on designs with acrylic artist paint mixed with water. First applied gesso. I will clear seal it. It vacuums like a hard floor, very easy. The quality is exceptional for price.
