Our 10 oz preshrunk cotton canvas is a premium USA fabric that is a cut above everyday canvas. This garment-quality material is extremely popular with many pattern designers for use in apparel, especially pants and jackets, and aprons. It's also ideal for window treatments including draperies, valances and curtains, slipcovers, upholstery, headboards, home décor accents—bed skirts, duvet covers, toss pillows and pillow shams. The low price of bargain canvas comes at, well, a price. Over the years we've found that 'cheap' canvas is far more like to have noticeable flaws than higher quality fabric like this 10oz canvas. Some examples of the imperfections you can expect to find in cheaper canvas include:

abrasion or crease marks
dirt or stains
dropped stitches
neps (small imperfections or foreign material that doesn't receive dye; this is something we've seen a lot in cheaper imported canvas)
snags
variations in shade
uneven dyeing
