Our 10oz Natural cotton duck canvas (single-fill) is an undyed, unbleached workhorse with a classic off-white tone straight from the loom. The medium weight and tight plainweave make it a go-to for slipcovers, upholstery accents, tote bags, aprons, crafts, and painting canvases. Because this fabric is unfinished (no optical brighteners, no dye), it’s an excellent base for dyeing, printing, painting, or priming with gesso for art.
This Natural canvas comes in a versatile 36" width and has a soft-medium hand that feeds cleanly through most home machines. Note the higher natural cotton shrinkage rate (12–15%); pre-wash and dry before cutting to achieve true sizing on finished pieces.
